Cliffhanger is a book about a timid boy called Tim who is going on an adventure holiday without his mum and dad. Tim does not want to go on this holiday AT ALL because he does not consider himself in the least bit sporty, and as a result, hates all games and sports. His parents, however, believe that the holiday will be the making of him, so poor Tim is forced to go.

This book takes us through Tim's highs (meeting brilliant new friends) and lows (dealing with potentially deadly activities, like abseiling!) of his unwanted holiday and you will chuckle along at the hilarious adventures that Tim experiences.  

I would recommend this book to readers aged seven and up.
