Remember that swimming, Computing, PE & Music will be on MONDAY this term - Please ensure that the BLUE and GREEN class bring their PE kits into school on a Monday and that the RED and YELLOW class bring their swimming kits on a Monday.

Our PE day will continue to be on Wednesdays next term - Children should come in their PE kits.

Please can you send in any 'junk-modelling' material for next week. This is for our D&T lessons, where we will be creating a giant 3D map of the UK. This could include cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, kitchen roll tubes etc (no toilet roll tubes please). Thank you in advance.

This week:

What a fabulous week we have had!

In maths, we have finished our work on fractions. We learned about equivalent fractions, and we compared and ordered fractions.

In English, we have continued our work on Esio Trot. We have been writing a letter from Mr Hoppy to Mrs Silver telling her how wonderful he thinks she is, and how he hopes that they can meet one day.

In the afternoons in our UBBC, we have had some fantastic Art lessons. We have been learning about primary and secondary colours, an how these can be mixed to create more colours. After learning how to mix different colours, we had a go at painting in the style of Henri Rousseau.

Next week

Next week in UBBC, we will be learning about continents, oceans and the countries of Europe, as well as topographical features and landmarks.

In English, we will be writing from Alfie, the tortoises', persepective.

In Maths, some of the groups will continue with addition and subtraction, while the others will be moving on to learning about time.
