Remember that swimming, Computing, PE & Music will be on MONDAY this term - Please ensure that the BLUE and GREEN class bring their PE kits into school on a Monday and that the RED and YELLOW class bring their swimming kits on a Monday.

Our PE day will continue to be on Wednesdays - Children should come in their PE kits.

Please can you send in any 'junk-modelling' material for next week. This is for our D&T lessons, where we will be creating a giant 3D map of the UK. This could include cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, kitchen roll tubes etc (no toilet roll tubes please). Thank you in advance.

This week:

The children have had a fantastic week!

In Maths, we have started learning about time - quarter past, half past, quarter to, o'clock, time to the nearest 5 minutes and time to the nearest minute. Miss Watmough and Mrs Watling/Mrs Pellett's learning groups have been learning about multiplication - using arrays and repeated addition.

In English, we have continued our work on Esio Trot. We have been writing from the perspective of Alfie, the tortoise, as he is taken from his balcony.

In the afternoons in our UBBC, we have taken part in Geography lessons. We have learned the continents, countries, cities, oceans, counties, landmarks and topographical features in the UK.

Next week

Next week in UBBC, we will be making our 3D map of the UK, including key landmarks and topographical features from our Geography lessons this week.

In English, we will be writing a set of instructions on how to care for a tortoise.

In Maths, some of the groups will look at division, while the others will continue learning about time.
