Our children and parents became poets and recreated a peon following a structure. This week, Year 5 have looked at poems by Benjamin Zephaniah and Brian Moses before using these to recreate their own following the structure. It was lovely to see the children thinking outside the box, writing their poems with loved ones and then confidently reading them aloud together.
