6R WWII day
On Tuesday, Mr O'Sullivan took 6R back in time to 1940. The children enjoyed many different activities throughout the day, including a drill session from Sgt Major!
It was great to see all the pupils engaged by their learning. They learned about rationing, air raids, code breaking, secret messages and played with toys from the wartime. Some of the children commented that the WWII toys were much more fun than their modern equivalents!

6B's Amazing Artwork!6B used a range of materials to create WWII artwork. They created bright and vibrant backgrounds using either tissue paper, pastels, water colours and paint.
