One Childhood - One Chance

Homework - 15.10.2021

This week in maths, we have been working on bar graphs and line graphs.

For your homework this week, we would like you to collect some data (information) and present it either in a bar graph or line graph.

Which graph you choose to use will depend on the data (information) you collect. You can collect data on anything you like! Choose something that interests you. Maybe how many goals scored in this weekends football games? Or how about a tally of how many different species of birds visit your garden? Or colours of cars that pass down your road in an hour? Be creative with your choice of question.

Once you have your data, present it in a graph. Squared paper works best if you have some - if not using a ruler and the lines in your homework books will work just fine. Take care to remember the steps your teachers have shown you this week to create your graphs.
