Following on from your research into Viking and Saxon settlements this week, we would like you to build or create your own Saxon village. 

How you choose to do this is up to you. You could:

• Draw or paint one on paper
• Use digital art to draw one on the computer
• Use recycling and junk modelling to build one at home
• Make one on Minecraft (there are plenty of YouTube tutorials which show you how)

Whatever you build, be sure to take a photo and share with your teacher! Below I have uploaded some photos for inspiration.

Don't forget to name your village! Use our lesson on Saxon place names to help you find an apporpriate name!
