Weekly Review:

What a fabulous week we have had!

In Maths, we have solved problems with pie charts and percentage, found the mean of a set of data and also explored 3D shapes! Next week our learning focuses on angles on a straight line and in shapes.

In English, we have started our new text – “Pig Heart Boy” by Malorie Blackman and explored some interesting and challenging vocabulary. Next week we will be exploring letter writing and reading further into the text.

In PSHE, we have been learning about diverse communities and in particular learnt about refugees and migrants – a topic incredibly relevant in recent times. We also celebrated diversity and each pupil designed their own puzzle piece that reflected them, which created a wonderful display in our corridor (see main picture!). Next week we start our new UBBC topic all about the human body.

What a great start to Term 5 – have a wonderful weekend Year 6.
