Stone Age Shelters
3G had a fun-filled day learning all about Stone Age shelters. We started our day by comparing Stone Age houses to our houses today. Next, we conducted a science experiment to investigate which materials would keep our cup of water warm for the longest amount of time. This helped us decide which material would keep us warm in our shelter for the longest amount of time.
In the afternoon, we then went outside to build our own shelters out of natural materials. We are going to check back to see if they were stable enough to withstand the weather conditions.
