My Maths:

Once a week – Friday to Friday.

This week in English:

We are really enjoying reading the twists, turns, and mysteries unravel in our year 6 text "Letters from the Lighthouse". This week in English we have written a balanced argument and discussed whether the British community of Budmouth Point should help the injured German Pilot who crashed on the beach!

Next week our focus will be on writing a speech about why we should help refugees - an issue very relevant and important to explore considering the current global situation.

Maths:

This week we have been focusing on about ratio and proportion and using scale factors to draw 2d shapes. Our final week of Maths for Term 4 will be centred on drawing and interpreting line graphs.

UBBC:

This week the children have had a fantastic time exploring our WW2 topic! We have been planning and designing intricate Anderson Shelters and discussing their crucial role in defending British people in the war. Next week we will evaluate the fantastic learning that has taken place in a UBBC quiz!
