Year 6 Weekly Messages and Home Learning 13th May
Message: 
Remember that swimming, Computing, PE & Music will be on THURSDAY this term - Please ensure the children bring their PE kits into school.
Our PE day will continue to be on Tuesdays - Children should come in their PE kits.
WOW day Wednesday 18th May – Children can come dressed as something to do with the human body (doctor, nurse, skeleton)
Friday 20th June – Dress to Express Day for diversity. Children can come to school in clothes that represent them- no donation is needed.
Friday 27th June- To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee the children will be red, white and blue.
Home Learning Task
Design a programme cover on A4 paper for our Year 6 production of Oliver!
Reading:
Minimum 3x a week. Reading record must be signed by an adult. Can be completed on your own or with your parents.
Spelling Shed:
Once a week – Friday to Friday.
Tasks will be completed online, with new tasks set every week.
Tasks will always follow the spellings being taught in class that week.
Times Tables Rock Stars:
Minimum 3x a week.
Can be completed on tablets, laptops or mobile phones though the app or the website.
My Maths:
Once a week – Friday to Friday.

Weekly Review:
The year 6 teachers could not be more proud of our fabulous superstars that took their SATS this week. We saw so much resilience, determination and they encompassed the core values of our school. We were blown away by their hard work and their positive growth mindset. We are so lucky to have such aspirational young minds in our team at Upton, they have made incredible progress since September and are Uptonions through and through.
