This week:

What a fabulous final week of Term 4 we have had!

In maths, we have continued to focus on fractions whilst some groups have revisited concepts to embed learning.

In English, we have written a free verse poem about an Egyptian God or Goddess.

In UBBC, we have looked at how shadows are formed and investigated how shadows change as we move an object closer or further away from a light source.

The children have put so much work into their Easter bonnets and boiled egg competition entries and we have loved seeing these coming in throughout the week! We are so proud of all of these entries - they are AMAZING!

Next term:

Next term, our topic will be 'It's a Small World'. Our first week back, will be personal development days in which we will be reading the book 'Migrants' by Issa Watanbe.

In English, we will be studying the text 'Esio Trot' by Roald Dahl.

In Maths, some of the groups will continue with fractions whilst some of the groups will be looking at addition and subtraction.

Have a wonderful and restful break. We are so proud of all the hard work all of the Y3 children have put in this term!
