Virtual Tours for UBBC
This week we are going to virtually visit some special places linked to our UBBC topic.
The first place we are going to visit is Stonehenge, there are 2 websites we are going to use.
This one uses Google Street View - you can walk around the whole area of Stonehenge and see the stones up close.
This site has short videos about the stones at Stonehenge - just click on the circles when you are inside the tour.
The second place we are going to virtually visit, are the Caves at Lascaux. You are taken on a "flying" video through the cave - just click the page to stop the video at any time. Using the Explore link on the left of the screen - you can see the images more clearly.
Activities
1) Stop anywhere on the Virtual Tours and complete a Field Sketch (Draw what you can see!)
2) Write a short postcard (This can be on paper or typed) about what you have learnt and what you have seen.
3) Leave a short review about visiting the tour.
4) Write a short poem based on what you have seen on the Virtual Tours.
