In English this week we continued with our text: Cosmic. In writing, the children wrote a balanced argument about whether Liam, our main character, deserves to go to space using cohesive devices! Next week we will be concluding our book, finding out if Liam ever really made it to space!

Thematic Curriculum:

The afternoon curriculum this week looked at lines of longitude and latitude, as well as climate zones and topographical features, forming part of our Geography learning. In addition, the children completed a cross-curricular writing task, completing a biography about the life of Galileo Galilei.

Next week, the children have DT day on Wednesday. They will be creating moon buggies, following the design process to create a vehicle with a power-motored engine!

We hope that you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday!
