    Mrs Ballen recommends ......... Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo

    Kensuke's Kingdom was first published in 1999 so I read it as an adult not a child! Since then I have read it many, many times! I can't recommend it highly enough! If you have the opportunity to read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
