Create a fact file about an animal that is extinct.

For example, you might want to create a fact file about the dodo bird, the woolly mammoth, a tyrannosaurus rex, or a different dinosaur or extinct animal! Research as much information about your extinct creature as you can.

In your fact file try to include…

• The name of your animal
• A drawing or diagram of what your animal looked like
• The approximate date of extinction
• Height of the animal
• Weight of the animal
• Its diet (what the animal ate)
• Its habitat (where it lived)
• Reason for extinction
• Any other information you can find.

How you present your fact file is completely up to you. Have fun!
