English:
This week in English, we wrote a news broadcast script detailing the incident that happened in London with Alexa and Tom. We used our interviewing techniques to gather quotes and used a reporter on location to bring extra information about the situation.
Next week we will film the news broadcasts in groups.
Maths:
In maths this week, we completed our end-of-term assessments in arithmetic and reasoning. We also completed our unit on 3D shapes by finding the different combinations you can make using 4 multi-link cubes.
Next week we will complete the end of unit assessment.
Thematic Curriculum:
In Thematic this week our focus was on RE and we learnt about Sikhism and the 5 Ks.
Next week we will explore Sikh festivals.
A huge thank you to anyone who came to support the summer fair this afternoon. A big thank you also to parents who supplied the children with the items needed to run their stall.
