PSHE Learning and Key Dates for Term 2

Please read below for more information about our learning in Term 2....

Next term’s PSHE focus is Equality and Diversity in Relationships. Children will explore the importance of inclusion and equality through their learning of the Protected Characteristics. 

The starting philosophical question for discussion will be: Should we all be treated the same? 

For Year 5, children will learn…

… to understand similarities and differences can come from many areas  
… to understand the consequences of discrimination in bullying

… to understand how to respond and ask for help 
… to recognize and challenge stereotypes  

Key Dates

Tuesday 12th November – Odd Socks Day – Children can wear funky/odd/colourful socks with their school uniform to recognise Anti-Bullying Week. No donation required.

Friday 15th November – Children in Need – Children can wear non-uniform/spotty/Pudsey themed outfits. A donation of your choice can be given.
