4Y have had such an exciting week exploring the Greek culture and having a lot of fun along the way! The children looked fantastic in their Ancient Greece outfits and thoroughly immersed themselves in some fantastically "Greek Inspired" activities. The children read the Greek Myth of Perseus and Medusa, then reenacted the story through drama in groups. The class then tickled their taste buds, sampling some authentically Greek foods and described what each one tasted like. During the afternoon, the children learned and performed the 'Hasapiko', a traditional folk dance and explored how the ancient Greeks told the time by creating their own water clocks. WOW day was a roaring success, very much enjoyed by all! Well done 4Y - You were fantastic!
