4R learn all about exercise and the importance of keeping our hearts healthy.
This week 4R have been focusing on the 'Healthy Body' in P.S.H.E. and have been exploring the different ways we can keep ourselves fit and healthy. Today we learned more about muscles in the body and the importance of keeping our hearts healthy with regular exercise and making healthy food choices. To demonstrate how exercise impacts our heart rate, we measured our BPM's before and after running around the field! We discovered that our heart rate is capable of beating over twice as fast when we exercise and this helps to keep our heart and body fit and healthy. Well done 4R!!
