Maths:

This week we have been continuing our work on length and perimeter, ready to start with fractions next week! We have been calculating the perimeter of regular and irregular polygons. 

English:

We have kicked off this term by exploring a non-fiction text about the Roman army, ready to begin our Roman-themed fiction texts next week. After reading and taking notes, we created a non-chronological report about the army, using subordinating conjunctions. 

Afternoon Thematic Curriculum:

This week has had a Personal Development theme as we explored the importance of diversity and equality. Next week we start our work on the Romans!

Home Learning:

This term, homework will have a different format; we would like you to undertake a Science project! The details are all attached. 

This term, our KIRF is the multiplication and division facts for the 12 times tables.
