English:

In English this week we continued with our text: Cosmic and started to plan and write our story.

Maths:

This week in maths we continued with our angles focus. We recapped our learning calculating angles around a point and angles on a straight line and then developed our understanding by looking at angles in triangles and rectangles.

Thematic Curriculum:

The afternoon curriculum this week has continued with our science learning about the phases of the moon. We created a beautiful flip book using the knowledge that we learnt. On Friday we had a fantastic day learning about the coronation of King Charles. In the morning we started by learning about what will happen on Saturday, and then we wrote our own 'kings speech'. We then did some coronation based art work and finished the day by playing cricket and having a coronation party!

We hope that you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend!
