Weekly Review:

What a fabulous week we have had!

In Maths, we have deepened our understanding of number facts and applying our knowledge to a range of problems. The children have developed their knowledge of multiples, factors and prime numbers.

In English, we have been writing an autobiography, based upon the children being one of the main characters from our book. Abdul Kazam – the magician! The children have developed their descriptive language and using a range of sentence structures for impact upon the reader.

In Topic the children have developed their knowledge of electricity – this started by building a potato powered circuit! The children have also carried out two investigations to understand the role of a resistor in a circuit – as well as knowing the role of a conductor and an insulator.
