Today, we started our writing based on the BFG which focuses on the first time the Queen and the BFG meet. Throughout our writing, we are weaving dialogue and description and using formal and informal language to show how the two characters speak. 

At the start of the lesson, we worked with our partner to develop ideas and write the opening.
