This week in Maths, we have continued with addition and subtraction, looking at how to add and subtract 1s and 10s across a 10 and 100. 

In English, we have started a new text, Rosa Parks. The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the inspirational life of Rosa Parks. They have also written their own 'I am...' poems, expressing their qualities, hopes, dream and fears. 

In UBBC, the children have been learning about how levers work and using this knowledge to create a page for a class picture book, where every page had a moving part.  

Next week:

In Maths, we continue with addition and subtraction, moving on to adding and subtracting with exchanging. 

In English, the children will be using their knowledge of Rosa Parks to write another 'I am...' poem from Rosa's point of view. 

UBBC next week will include our fabulous finish where MAD Education will be coming in to do lots of team building activities to end our Knowing Me, Knowing You topic.
