6R have been learning about the importance of classification and using a classification key when studying the plants, animals and minerals on our planet. Using the 6 classes of animals, 6R sorted a variety of animals according to their characteristics. They put this knowledge into practice by creating their own sorting keys which could be used to identify different animals.
