Number Day 2020

Today was fantastically mathematical in every way! We enjoyed many activities, all fun and practical, around the subject of Mathematics. We applied lots of mathematical thinking and problem solving skills to complete many challenges , such as 'Escape the room' and 'The football shirt mystery'. We puzzled around using algorithms to create complex spirals and made our own set of tangrams.

The afternoon was spent outside completing an interactive and creative maths trail, followed by a tough BIDMAS challenge that got us thinking.

Everyone showed the school values of Respect and Resilience today and, above all, had fun! Thanks to the parents who helped create the mathematically -themed costumes.
