This week Upton has immersed itself into Book Week - exploring, reading and discussing the importance of reading. Yesterday was a super day in 3R! Inspired by the picture book "Journey" by Aaron Becker the pupils planned, illustrated and wrote about their own journey they could undertake. They storyboarded their ideas, added key vocabulary and spent the afternoon writing and describing. I was SO impressed by the children's passion and involvement.
