The day started with a scientific workshop based on our sense, focusing on taste. The children learnt about our taste buds and the important role our eyes and nose play in taste. We then spent some time learning about how humans can adapt and compensate for the loss of a limb or a sense.

After lunch the class had a CPR first aid lesson which they all returned from enthused and armed with vital knowledge. To finish off we made our own mucus to demonstrate the amazing bug-fighting qualities of our immune systems!
