....in long division. Following on from our division lessons this week, some of our class were ready to move onto long division yesterday and became really confident in this. Today, we paired the experts with the novices and the children worked as partners to teach the novices how to work out Long Division calculations.
We used the mnemonic 'Does McDonalds Serve Cheese Burgers?' to help us to remember the steps - divide, multiply, subtract, check, bring down.
