As the term comes to an end, the Year 3 team would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful Year 3 children for making it such a fantastic few months filled with fun, laughter and learning. Every child has embraced all aspects of their learning with positivity, enthusiasm and determination, always striving to do their very best and achieve success.

A true testament to this has been the incredible success of this week’s residential sleepover at AirHop. Every child who attended represented the school beautifully and embraced the experience wholeheartedly. For many, it was their first time staying away from home, but without exception, every child took the experience in their stride, showing courage, resilience and a willingness to step outside of their comfort zones. We could not be prouder of them.

Equally, the children who remained at school were a real credit to their class teams, approaching their challenges and activities with the same enthusiasm, teamwork and positivity. They enjoyed a fabulous day together, and it was wonderful to bring the whole Year 3 team back together at the end of the day for fun and games on the school field.

We are incredibly proud of every single child and all they have achieved this term. They have shown kindness, determination and maturity throughout, and it has been a joy to watch their confidence and friendships continue to grow. Well done, Year 3!

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved, restful half-term, with plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time together as a family. 

Next term: 

• 3R and 3Y will have their swimming sessions on Thursdays. Children will need to come dressed in their PE kit to school on this day, and bring with them their swimming costumes to change into.  

• Swimming kit reminder:  full swimming costume/swim shorts and swimming hat.   

• Wednesday 8^th July: Year 3 trip to Wingham Wildlife Park. A letter has gone home today.
