Our morning focus has been upon our writing this week, using stimulus as video clips to create atmospheric and descriptive writing.  The children have created some wonderful pieces this week that showcases how fat they have developed their writing skill set this year.

The week was also punctuated by the two Ramsgate Tunnels trips, the children may have got slightly wet, however they really enjoyed discovering the history of the tunnels.

 

     

Homework Reminders

•             Reading: Please read with your child at least three times a week.

•             Accelerated Reader: Children should choose books within their ZPD range and complete a quiz after finishing each book (in school or at home).

•             Times Tables: TTRS at least three times a week.

•             Mathletics: This week’s task is set and due Friday.

•             Spellings: Choose 10 spellings each week and practise using the strategies shown in their spelling journal.

•             Thematic – please choose a task from the grid below to complete weekly.
