Key Messages for Next Week…

Tuesday 8^th September – Parent Meet and Greet at 2:45pm.

• Thursday is swimming for 4B and 4G. Please ensure that full swimming kit is brought in on that day. If your child cannot take part, please contact their teacher or the office to explain why. Children MUST have a swim cap and earrings removed.
• Children can come to school in their PE kit on swimming days.
• Please ensure children are wearing correct school uniform and shoes, including a tie.
• Please ensure children are bringing in their water bottles every day, preferably with a sports cap.
• Wellies are needed so that the children can access the field during break and lunch times.
• Please ensure children always have a coat in school as they will access outdoor areas in all weathers.
• PE is on a Wednesday. Children to come to school in their PE kit.

Weekly Homework Tasks: 

Reading daily – please bring in your reading record signed by an adult.

TTRS - at least 3 times a week for 10 minutes.

Mathletics – Friday to Friday

AR Quizzes – complete on Accelerated Reader once book has been completed. This can be done at home or at school.

Please note, Mathletics, TTRS and AR have different logins.

Our Learning:

This week, our focus has been settling in the children to their new classes and learning has been through PSHE. Our foci for our sessions have centred around regulating emotions and creating safe spaces. We have also looked at how we can cope with change and loss. We have explored the British Values and looked at identity and self-image during our online safety lessons.
