It only seems like yesterday that our Year 3 children were nervously stepping through the gates of Upon, ready to begin a brand-new chapter in their learning journey. There were new classrooms to explore, new friendships to make, and a whole world of learning waiting for them. Fast forward to today, and what a journey it’s been! We’ve watched our children grow in so many ways: academically, socially, and emotionally. They’ve faced challenges with courage, tackled new topics with curiosity, and approached each day with energy and enthusiasm- they’ve embraced every opportunity with open hearts and open minds.

We want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful Year 3 children. You have made us smile every single day. Your kindness, your humour, your determination, and your creativity have lit up our classrooms and corridors. You have been a joy to teach and spend time with, and we are so proud of the fantastic role models you have become, and we know you’ll continue to do so as you move into Year 4.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the ongoing support of our amazing families. Thank you for standing alongside us, encouraging your children, communicating with us, and contributing to our school community. Your partnership means the world to us, and it makes such a difference in your children’s education and wellbeing.

As we head into the summer holidays, we hope you all enjoy a well-deserved rest. Whether you’re planning sunny getaways, quiet days in the garden, or exciting local adventures, we hope this break is filled with laughter, sunshine, and special memories.

We can’t wait to welcome the children back—as the new Year 4s, on Tuesday 2nd September at 10am. Until then, thank you again for a fantastic year.
