3R got stuck into their new topic with a super Scavenger Hunt around Upton's school field. They were looking for 16 numbers dotted on a map, which they then had to follow and uncover 16 letters. These letters led them to discover a key word linked to our new topic..... AUSTRALOPITHICUS! Meaning "first human" this was a great way to prompt discussions on the Stone Age and pre-history.
