Throughout the day, year 4 were involved in science workshops with FizzPop Science, who had a multitude of hands on activities for the children to get hands on with and learn about electricity, including a plasma lamp and a shockingly hair-raising Van de Graff generator.

Pupils also got the chance to build their own electric car which ran on battery power. When they grow up, it is very likely they will be learning to drive in battery powered cars similar to the ones they built today (maybe just a little larger).
