4Y have spent the day learning about our PSHE focus on relationships. We started the day by looking at the differences between relationships and friendships. We discussed the positive and negative attributes found in both and wrote about someone who they felt they had a good relationship with. 

After break we then watched a video called 'Wing' which highlighted bullying and how children should respect each other and learn to accept differences. The children wrote an alternate ending to the story and responded extremely well to the message it gave them. 

We spent some time talking about people who light up our life. They wrote the names of these people in a star and discussed with their partners why those people made them happy. 

This afternoon, the children learnt about online identity and how to keep safe. They then learnt the difference between good and bad secrets. The children were given a list of scenarios and they had to decide whether it was a secret they should keep or one they should tell an adult!
