Today, we went to pur local church to take part in Easter Cracked. Whilst there, we took part in a number of activities so we could better understand the Easter Story. We also made Easter nests which were yummy and took part in an Easter rap!
One of the best things about Book Week was being able to spend part of Friday afternoon with our loved ones sharing a book. It was great to sit in the classroom or in the sunshine and just read!
6B Act Out Scenes from our Book Week Text - Journey!
During Book Week, the whole school read the same text -Journey! One of our activities was to freeze frame some of the key parts from the text focusing on body language and facial expressions. The text has no words so it was important that we used inference to show character feelings.
In Geography we have looked at a number of different maps such as: political maps, physical maps, road maps and ordinance survey maps so we thought it would be great to link our learning to book week!
