6G - WWII Experience and British Values

This week in 6G.
This Tuesday 6G took part in their second WWII experience with a day at Kent Life. We were joined by a member of the Home Guard, a Billet Officer and an RAF officer, who were all incredibly knowledgable and engaging. We also spent some time visiting the farm animals including some brand new piglets. Cute as they were, the piglets were not the main attraction as several members of 6G took a shine to the over-friendly goats!
We also spent some time this week looking at the British Values, in particular Tolerance and explored how tolerance, and sadly intolerance, was displayed during WWII. The class engaged in a very thoughtful conversation and could brilliantly articulate the importance of tolerance and how it is demonstrated in today's world.
