Dear President Trump, 

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Evie and I am writing to you to say that we need to stop climate change and you must help us do it. We want you to help us, we need you to help us and more importantly the world needs your help. I feel very strongly about climate change and I will do all I can to help this devastating problem. I think you should consider reading my reasons as to why you should help us stop climate change down below. As you would not want to see us be sad and make climate change ruin our lives. 

The weather is getting progressively worse every year and this could lead to something bad, like flooding in our houses and if we go out of the front door then we could get hit with rain and get drenched. This dreadful weather is happening more often because of the real threat of climate change. What it if rained one day and if someone was poor, rain could spill all over their house and they would start crying and be really upset...... do you want that to happen to your house? You need to stop it Mr President. It is getting out of control. Please let this mayhem stop.  

The effects of sea level rise are very real. The forecast for the very near future is looking bleak. I am very concerned about British farmers as there are increasing flooding over their land and this is destroying their crops. I am also concerned about our ever-increasing erosion of our cliffs and riverbanks. This is personal to me because I do not want this to continue as my parents live near a riverbank. 

The greenhouse gases are caused by the trees being cut down and it is being soaked up by carbon dioxide, and now if more trees are getting cut down then carbon dioxide will stay in the air and this are bad. I do not think that we need to deal with these horrible greenhouse gases because it is terrible.  

Overall, I think that we need to save all these things from happening in this world because it is making me upset and we need your help to stop it, also we need to save these bad things from happening in the future.

Dear President Trump, 

A man as powerful as you can change our world. In this letter I am hopefully going to show you that climate change is real: please do not read this and screw it up at least read it! I hope to change your mind, I am here to try and show you that our world is in danger. Please stop trying to convince people that climate change is not real because the ones that do not believe are adding to the problem.

First as a very important man you should realise that the weather has been unbelievable. The atrocious weather all around the word is affecting our world daily. Not only can it bring colds it can affect people's mental health; if it is constantly raining then the majority of people are going to stay inside which means a risk that people are going to be depressed and lonely. It can also be too cold and that can affect us and our wildlife such as it being too warm in the Arctic especially, it can melt the ice and can kill several innocent animals; is that what you want? As it being too hot it can cause droughts which means no water not for animals but also for us humans. No water we cannot survive, would you like to be the person in charge for not stopping climate change because you cannot provide water for everybody? Somehow together we can save our world. People would love you for saving our world! Therefore, you need to act quickly: the weather is hurting and killing several people. 

 Rising sea levels!  We need to make sure that there is no flooding as you are so important, I am sure you can help achieve this. Flooding can be so dangerous as it can lead to serval deaths or injuries such as: drowning and it can also lead to people struggling to breathe. As well as it being that dangerous people can also get stuck and trapped inside their houses or where they live. The water can travel inside windows, doors and more, I hope you can understand that this is not okay like I can. When boats and ships come out to rescue people the tides and currents do not help; how people can die or get injuries is by swimming out there getting caught up and then they unfortunately die or get hurt. Not only by people swimming out there the boats and ships can get caught out at sea. I really hope that you are starting to understand how bad it really is and that it is really happening. With your help we can really save this world. 

Deforestation, this is one of the main problems. I cannot stand that so many things are happening with this. Where do I start, here is one you are killing so many innocent animals I know I keep mentioning it, but you cannot let an animal suffer in your hands. Is that what you want? With your help we will save our forests! You are technically killing us because we only need a bit of carbon dioxide and we need lots of oxygen to breathe, however the trees need a lot of carbon dioxide to live. The trees take in carbon dioxide and the produce oxygen that we need to survive and if we do not have oxygen we die. I hope you can understand how bad this is! This is a key thing we need to help so please help our world! 

I have given you so many reasons why we should help our world. You use your power on some unnecessary things when you can use it to save our world. I hope you take my reasons into consideration.

Dear President Trump, 

It has come to my attention that you are not aware of climate change and many would argue that you are in doubt of its existence so I am writing to you to teach you about it and the actions you must take to stop it. 

Many people are suffering due to the freak weather accidents caused by climate change. I know you are thinking that all around the world freak weather accidents happen anyway with or without global warming, but I am trying to tell you that they are happening a lot more often now. You may also be thinking that you are safer in America but trust me you are very wrong. I mean just think back to all the severe weather catastrophes in the U.S. Now do not tell me nothing has changed recently. Like I told you it happens everywhere remember the forest fires in 2020 well it is completely up to climate change. I have told you lots but to truly make a better future we all must work together and now. 

Another catastrophe that is related to climate change and could happen quite soon is the rising sea levels. It starts with the earth getting hotter; than the ice caps melting; then the water from the ice caps goes into the ocean making the ocean rise, flooding places. The rising sea levels may not seem that bad, but did you know the sea has risen by four hundred feet in the last twenty thousand years? If that does not scare you this will: it has been estimated sixteen million people have been living on land that will be under the sea by 2100 It might sound small but let me assure you it is very, very, very, very, very bad! 

The greenhouse effect is different to how it sounds, and it is not actually that confusing. The greenhouse effect is where we damage the atmosphere, the thing that protects us from the sun and space - it allows us to breathe, it is damaged by the pollution we create. When we damage the atmosphere there is nothing to protect us from the hot sun making the earth hotter and when the earth gets hotter the ice caps melt when the ice caps melt all the water from the ice goes into the sea making the sea rise. Once the sea rises places on our planet will get flooded. 

I have explained climate change to you, now you know all about the very real climate change and its threat to our planet. Please take this opportunity into your capable hands and end this fight against climate change once and for all. What is stopping you?

Hello Sir, firstly, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Isobel. I am writing to you to see if I am able to alter your choice on if climate change is real. I strongly believe I can change your mind on this horrible disaster. Being one of the most (if not the MOST) powerful man in the world, we need your help to stop this terrible devastating disaster. However, I think you should read my letter because I have a strong feeling that I will change your opinion on global warming. You are so powerful you can change the world forever. This problem is all up to YOU to fix. Also, I hope you can consider my points so you can reverse the negative effects on climate change.  

Firstly, all over the world around us is a problem with the weather and it is getting worse every minute of the day. This is not a good thing. When the weather goes all rainy and windy. People's barns and sheds are being blown down and they have destroyed loads of horse's homes. If it keeps raining whenever you go outside, you will be drenched and if you leave the windows open the rain might flood your house and you will become homeless. When the weather gets worse nobody wants to go out because of the rain and wind. The world’s climate patterns have been disturbed by global warming, many regions are affected by devastating weather conditions; these range from areas becoming drier and suffering droughts crops, to natural disasters such as hurricanes, cyclones and flash-flooding. YOU need to get this over and done with. This is all in your hands to fix. This is YOUR responsibility; this is up to you to fix and it needs to happen now! Please stop this Sir, do want your house to be flooded or electrocuted by lightning and you do not have a home? Do you want to have nowhere to go to stay? Nowhere to go?   

The rising sea levels leads to flooding and houses to be flooded. When you are in your car your road could be flooded. The animals in the sea are being drifting onto the dry rocky land and dying because of all the currents that have drifted them into land. This is bad, to just leave the poor animals to die and suffer. This can knock down people's houses as well You ought to stop this NOW. Nobody likes how the animals are being treated except from you. Imagine if you were one of those animals in the water and got pulled over by the tide. Would you like this to go on forever and you not having a home? We are growing conundrum, which must be stopped forever, otherwise our planet will become a place of chaos Sir. Can you imagine such a terrible future, President Trump? This could last forever if you do not move now.  

I am now going to introduce you to deforestation. It is a bad thing that should stop right now and FOREVER. You are so powerful you can stop this, and it is all up to you and you can’t give up. Stop letting the people cut down trees its bad and very upsetting for the baby animal’s mums because they are only just babies. When you let people cut down the trees some animals like sloths and monkeys lose their homes. All of them birds have nowhere to land or stay. Poor animal’s homes are being destroyed and nothing can save them if you do not act now. 5 billion to 7 billion trees are cut down per year, and it will not look good at the end. Do you want this to keep going on? YOU need to stop trees from being burnt and cut down and that needs to happen RIGHT NOW!!! 

Sir, please can you stop this. I would just like to recap about all the terrible things that are going to happen if you do not act right now! Would you like to live in a horrible world full of disasters every minute of every day? Animals' lives are in danger and so are ours. Would you like our world to be? This is all in your hands Donald and you need to act now and never give up on this planet. This is all in your hands! Act now or the world will never be around, and the world will be chaos every day! Hopefully, I have changed your mind.

Dear President Trump, 

I have written to you today to talk to you about global warming. You are one of the most powerful people in the world so surely you can help put a stop to it, you must act fast. We are killing the earth second by second and here are some of the reasons why: 

Scientists have found out that the weather has been changing unpredictably due to global warming! Since 1906, the global average surface temperature has increased by more than 1.6 degrees Fahrenheit (0.9 degrees Celsius) - even more sensitive in polar regions. Because of it being more sensitive in polar regions, our polar ice caps have, gradually, been melting. This means that whoever inhabits the ice caps, their homes are being destroyed! This includes Polar Bears, Penguins and many more! It is now getting cold in places it is not supposed to and warm in places it is not supposed to! The weather is getting more unpredictable by the minute, you must act fast! 

Another prime suspect of global warming is deforestation. Deforestation is when masses of trees are cut down is groups to make paper, wood furniture and many more. But, what would you rather, paper and wood or our world being a safe place to live for our future generations? Do you want your children to be living in an unsafe place? When trees are cut down, less oxygen goes into our atmosphere. The size of a football pitch is cut down each day! Soon all our forests are going to be gone! Not just that less oxygen goes into the air, many animals’ homes are being cut down as well! Animals like chimpanzees, Koalas and many more! The big question is, do you want this to happen? 

 Another one of the factors of global warming is the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is when the greenhouse gasses waft into the air and create a greenhouse-like cover around our planet. The greenhouse gasses that cause this are: water vapour; carbon dioxide; methane; ozone; nitrous oxide and CfC (chlorofluorocarbons). Your country is one of the biggest producers of these! To stop all these greenhouse gasses, you can plant lots of trees. Or, there is a search engine that plants a tree whenever you search something. The website is called: Ecosia - the search engine that plants trees so, you ought to check that out! 

To summarise, we need to stop global warming NOW! We are killing the earth minute by minute and a man with such power like you can surely help global warming. If we keep going on as we are right now, in a few years' time many will not have a place to call home. Would you want this to happen?
